Indigo update!

Hi all...I realized I haven't posted in a while, so thought I'd post a quick update and pic! :O) Indigo weighed 46.2 lbs as of 3 days ago and is a little firecracker!

I don't know about your pups, but she has SO much energy! I bought one of those blue kiddie pools for her and she is in it nonstop...usually at the most inconvenient times for me, but it's ok...she LOVES it!!! I take her and Midi (the 9 year old) to the dog park every afternoon and they run like crazy. Indigo plays fetch like it's her job and I didn't even have to teach her. Crazy. I think we will probably move onto the frisbee next, just to up her skill level of catching and retrieving.

Anyway, here's a recent pic:

Hope everyone is doing well! Post PICS please!!!

Mystery solved!

A recap of Thursday morning...

Noelle:  Maggie isn't feeling so well this morning, Amy said she threw up her breakfast

Nicole:  Oh poor thing!  I will be sure to keep an eye on her today

Noelle:  Ok thanks.  I am outta here - gotta get to work.  Oh, by any chance did some of my underwear get mixed up with yours in the laundry?  I am missing several pairs.  So weird.

Nicole:  No - I haven't seen any.  Did you check between the washer and dryer? Maybe they fell down there?

Noelle:  Yes I did, not there.  Oh well.  I bet they will turn up.

Nicole:  Maybe they are in Maggie's belly!

(laughter from both)

Noelle:  Ok - I am off to work!  Keep me posted on how Maggie is doing.  Bye!

Nicole goes on about her morning, is making some tea when she turns around to see Maggie throwing up again.

Mystery solved!  That's right.  Not one, not two, not three....but four pairs of thong underwear!!

Indigo gets ready to move back to the South...

Midi (my older dog, ie the perfect dog), Indigo and I are getting ready to make the move BACK to the South....Nashville to be exact. It's been almost 2 years to the day since I moved away from Nashville. Midi is a Nashvillian, so she is as ready to get back as I am! Unfortunately, she forgot to communicate with Indi that I like to move around a lot.

I took this after about 20 minutes of Indigo constantly needing my attention during the packing of my kitchen. Apparently, she is not comfortable with the whole "boxing up" process. So, she decided that snuggling Midi Lou would be her best comfort!

Other than that, she is doing great! LOVES to be independent, loves to play with her brother Ace, who she is going to miss tremendously after we move, and loves to have morning snuggle time on the bed after getting out of her crate. :O)

Pics of Harper and Atticus (Pups Dad)

Hello to All,

I am sorry that I have not gotten pics and updates of Harper (Studs) on the blog. He is growing like a weed. At 12wks he was 21 lbs. He will definitely be taller than Atticus. We have been training quite a bit recently and with Atticus to help, it has been pretty easy (thank goodness because his dad was a nightmare). He can sit, stay, place (lay on given spot), come, hold (dummy), release, up (on couch-see pics), off (of couch), and of course NO bite. He has rejuvenated Atticus to a puppy at times, which is great. I will try to take more pics outside retrieving.

Josie and Ruby aka Tess and Pinky's first day at the lake

Tom sent these picture of Ruby and Josie's day at the lake.  Tom is a pediatric ER doctor and sent me this note:

Ruby curled up in my lap - a kid died at work today.  Not sure that I will make sense of a 13 year old dying...having Ruby here now though helps...

Everybody at the kennel loves Ruby - she made friends with a deaf dog that the trainer said no one else would play with ....so tell pelly thanks.
