Maggie's January Photo Shoot

Ace and Indi go to the vet!

Ace and Indigo went for their 10 week checkup today...all is good! Ace weighed in at 24.3 pounds and Indi weighed in at 20 pounds! How fast they are growing!!! Malaine (Biz is posting for her since she has deficiency in the blog department) bought them seat belts since they have outgrown all former means of transportation. Here's a pic of them just chillin' in safety:

And this is Ace, tired of all the vet and car drama...Can't wait to see how the rest of the pups have grown!!!

$25 in our pockets!

Thanks to Indi, I am $25 richer. :O) She won the puppy pic of the day contest on Anamigo.com. I seriously recommend registering and loading some pics. Our puppies are so ridiculously cute that you are sure to win at least one day. You can win up to $300 if you can get enough votes for the week.

If you want to vote for Indigo, you can VISIT HERE. Once you register, you can upload pics and then enter your pup in the contest and then I will return the favor and vote for your super cute pup. :O)

But, just wanted to share the fun news! Here's the pic that won:

Hello from Gus

Hi all,

Glad to hear everyone is doing so well. I am still working on house training. I am getting pretty good at going when they take me out, but I do not give much of a signal at other times. I try to be subtle and just sniff around a bit, then I pee on the carpet. Mom and dad do not get mad, but I sure hate seeing them do all that extra work. Are any of you guys giving a specific signal when you have to go out?? Let me know cause I'd be glad to try it.

I did get a bath recently which was fun and I am learning to walk on a leash.

Hope you all are doing well.
Love Gus

My "Friend"

To pass the time I like to "talk" to my new friend but I am not sure why he won't play with me? Thatcher has discovered his reflection in the oven, and likes to have a little conversation everyday with his reflection. It is hysterical.

And his name is.....

Thatcher. It took a long time to make that decision - sorry to everyone who has been waiting. We went to the vet today for his 9 wk shots. (My vet does 9, 12 and 15 weeks) and he weighed in at 17 lbs 6 oz. Big boy!

He still doing great and learning new things every day. Like Indi we mastered up and down stairs this week. As you can see from my picture I am extremely adorable like the rest of the family.

Indi's accomplishment and celebration!

Today, Indigo covered new ground...the steps! I had to coax her down
each step, but as soon as she got to the bottom, she went crazy! It
was like she had won $10 million!!! :0) So, we had a stairs party for
her. We being me, her and Midi!

Then, she tackled the going up a little later. Now, 2 hours later, she
is running up and down them and I can't get a clear picture! How fast
they are growing...

hello from Ace!!!

Hi, I'm Ace and I live with the Mayor and family in Aberdeen, Maryland. I'm pretty much spoiled and very large. I'm going to the vet this afternoon, so will post my stats once I know!
I tolerate my sister, Indigo, only to the extent that I can use her as a chewing post.
We love to run and even have our own ramp installed (thanks to Gabe, the greatest dog in the world who is no longer IN this world).
Indi sometimes likes me, too.
I miss all my brothers and sisters and can't wait for a big reunion!!!

More snuggle love.  Maggie and Pelham.

Maggie is doing so much better these days after saying good bye to all of her brothers and sisters.  She loves her pelly though as you can see.

And Pelham is such a good babysitter!  Just now I was in my office working and Pelham started pawing at me and acting squirrelly.  I looked down and Maggie was chewing on my iphone cord!  Good job momma pelly!

Hi all! The vet wasn't too bad, but after a few minutes, I was ready to leave. He said I weighed almost 14 pounds. I got my shots and microchip. They did not hurt as much as I thought. I have to go back in 3-4 weeks for more shots. Growing up can really be painful.
I then went to a Lawyers office to sign some important documents. When they weren't looking, I peed on the conference room rug. Dad was a little embarrassed, but the lawyer just laughed. She had a dog named Zeke, who is actually a distant relative of ours. Small world. We then went to the Bank. I tried to make a deposit on the floor but I wasn't quick enough. Busy morning, now I'm ready to take a nap.

Hi from Ace in Maryland!

Ace is doing great...I love him!!!  He's going to the vet today and I'm anxious to see how much he weighs.  A picture is soon to follow but just wanted to report on his progress.  He's fortunate to have his sister Indigo with him during the daytime...they love to play together.

I'm Gus

Hello litter mates!

So cool to have this blog. My owners, Karen and Steve are pretty nice. I like my new home, but miss my mom and sibs. I am becoming a proficient chewer and really like to pee and poop outside (inside occasionally too). My crate is fairly pedestrian, but comfortable. Tomorrow I go to the vet for "shots". Wish me luck.

Love, Gus

PS do not tell Steve and Karen I can type.

Hello from "the puppy formerly known as Prince"

...and soon to have I new name, I promise!  Prince is doing great, definitely has gotten a little feistier in the last few days and teething has really kicked in.  He is doing pretty well with the crate during the day and at night.  He has started to ask to go outside for the bathroom but definitely not consistently.

We are headed to the vet this afternoon so I will post his stats when we get back.

Hi from Indigo!

Just doing a test run to make sure we can mobile blog. This is Indigo,
staying with me (bizzle, aka Michele) in Maryland. She's a firecracker
of insanity and cuteness. And spoiled.

welcome

Welcome to Pelham's pups blog.  I get such great pictures and email stories from everyone, I thought it would be fun for all of you to see and hear how all of the pups are doing.  I know some of you are having problems with crate training and whining while they are in the crate, so I thought this might help each other give advice as to what works and doesn't work.  It sounds like the pups are on the same schedule even though they are in different homes and in some cases different states even!  So blog away my fellow new puppy owners - blog away!
